The Study Group returns from summer break ready to tackle their fourth year of Community College. Jeff is particularly focused on graduating and is just a few credits away. When there is a mix-up with a history class registration, Dean Pelton institutes an elaborate physical competition for class space. Meanwhile, Britta helps Abed deal with the anxiety he is experiencing over the thought of the study group graduating and breaking up.

Critically acclaimed "Community" is a smart, exuberant half-hour comedy series about a tight-knit study group at Greendale Community College. At the center of the group is Jeff Winger (Joel McHale, "The Soup"), a fast-talking lawyer whose degree has been revoked. With some help from his fellow classmates, Winger forms a study group who eventually learn more about themselves than their course work.

Among the series stars who comprise the group are comedy legend Chevy Chase ("Fletch") as Pierce, a successful businessman whose life experience has brought him infinite wisdom; Gillian Jacobs ("Seeking a Friend for the End of the World") as Britta, the 20-something dropout with something to prove; Yvette Nicole Brown ("Rules of Engagement") as Shirley, a sassy middle-aged divorcee; Danny Pudi ("Greek") as Abed, a pop culture junkie; Alison Brie ("Mad Men") as Annie, a high-strung perfectionist; Donald Glover ("30 Rock") as Troy, a former high school football star trying to find his way; and Ken Jeong ("The Hangover Part II") as Chang, the group’s former Spanish professor, turned student. Greendale's fearless leader is Dean Pelton (Jim Rash, "That '70s Show"), an ultra-efficient yet slightly neurotic administrator whose penchant for dressing in costume is well-documented.

After an explosive third year at Greendale, which included Dean Pelton's struggles against Dean Laybourne (guest star John Goodman) and his elite Air-Conditioning Repair Annex, a wedding, a tough biology class and the rise of Chang from campus security officer to megalomaniac dictator, the study group reunites to tackle their fourth year. This season, the group will study history with Professor Noel Cornwallis, played by guest star Malcolm McDowell, ("Entourage," "Franklin & Bash"); they will make an unexpected trip to Pierce’s mansion on Halloween; Jeff will finally meet his long-lost dad; and Shirley will experience the joys of entrepreneurship with her sandwich shop at Greendale.

"Community" was created by Dan Harmon ("The Sarah Silverman Program") who serves as executive consultant. Russ Krasnoff ("The Soloist") is executive producer, along with Gary Foster ("Sleepless in Seattle"), Moses Port and David Guarascio ("Happy Endings"). Tristram Shapeero ("Nurse Jackie") is executive producer/director. The series is a Krasnoff Foster Entertainment production, in association with Universal Media Studios and Sony Pictures Television.

This show is just awesome. Me and my chap are often having to pause it or rewind it just because of the amount and the level of humour! All the characters are great. Sexy Jeff pulls the best faces, Pierce is just brilliant (he is very nearly my fave), Annie and Shirley bounce of each other and have some great moments, Britta is cute, funny and geeky and Abed and Troy take over the show when they have scenes together. Even watching the pilot episode i was laughing my bum off!!! Spanish professor Chang is also great. My only criticism is that Troy needs a story line or a few more scenes as he is so so funny but the end scenes with Abed and Troy more than make up for that. They are genius! The whole cast is just great and after watching the whole first series in one weekend i cannot wait for the next one. One of the most clever, entertaining and FUNNY shows i have ever seen. Along with the other fans.
