The Lawsuit is settled. As we see in this sneak peek, the lawsuit is settled in the doctors' favor -- really in their favor! They get $15 million each. Jaw? Meet floor.
But they aren't happy. However, this sudden windfall doesn't thrill most of the docs. According to Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey), who spoke to TVLine, that's because everyone except Callie (Sara Ramirez) sees it as "blood money" — "people died, Arizona lost her leg."
An awkward dinner. Ellen also revealed that Callie drags the other docs to a celebratory dinner (probably this one), where we'll learn why she wants to celebrate so much. Um, is suddenly having $15 million not a good enough reason?
Second question: Is this the diner where Mer reveals she's pregnant? Seems like it's about time, especially because she finally reaches the end of her first trimester this week.
Derek in recovery: More good news! According to the official synopsis of the episode, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) "begins recovery for his hand." How? With a little physical therapy by way of ping-pong! He'll be playing intern Shane (Gaius Charles), and things might get a bit heated.
Richard avoids romance. The official symphysis also reveals that Richard (James Pickens Jr.) "avoids Catherine's romantic advances," this week. In this sneak peek, it looks like he's avoiding everybody.
Jackson gets defiant. This week will also involve Jackson (Jesse Williams) taking on one of Mark's (Eric Dane) old patients. But when he wants to change Mark's plan, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) is not happy.
